Hello. And thank you for all of your responses!!! I love this site!
My art 1students are starting contour line drawing. I am starting with the
BORING hand ( we are using the manual alphabet, sign language and signing out
a saying . Each student will be assigned a letter to draw. After the hand is
complete I will be having them shift every 10 minutes to different stations
around the room where I have still life's set up/ Well, this is great for
learning contour. BUT what can I have them do with the contours after drawing
them. I thought I would have them choose one station, do a very large contour
and THEN WHAT? Any great ideas on contour?Please help. First
