Hi! I am a third year teacher at the high school level. I recently sent a
lesson in to School Arts magazine to see if I could get it published and I
just got a letter back saying they are interested. I am curious as to
whether or not any of you have had anything published through them. The
reason I ask is because they say they will own it upon publication and that
I will have no rights to the lesson or article once it is published. This
concerns me only because I have thought about using this lesson at a
conference (possibly) someday in the future and I do not think that would be
possible if they gain all rights to it. If anyone has had this experience
before and has any advice for me before I make my final decision, please let
me know. I am nervous about the process. Thanks so much.
