Absolutely, participation with this within the public schools, would
most probably violate church and state laws, unless perhaps you teach in
a parochial or christian school.

My interest is personal/professional, as an 'artist', not a public
school art educator; and in response to Mary Pat's request for more
information about this competition that someone had previously posted.
