How does this sound? Donna

a good clay body for tiles, (A WHITE CLAY WITH GROG) : constructing,
and keeping them from warping. (CARVE LINES DOWN THE BACK - TAKE THE
BACK END OF A THICKER WOODEN BRUSH AND JUST BELOW THE TOP TO JUST ABOVE
THE BOTTOM, DRAW LINES IN THE CLAY. BECAREFUL NOT TO GO TOO DEEP) (DRY
THEM VERY SLOWLY- ON MESS RACKS IF YOU HAVE THEM.... I DON'T)
decoration? (INCISING, ADDED PINCH, SLAB AND COIL CONSTRUCTIONS - LOW
RELIEF OF JUST PAINT ON THEM) Do you bisque the tile and then apply
stains? (OR UNDER GLAZES OR GLAZES - SOME OF MY STUDENTS HAVE EVEN USED
ACRYLIC PAINTS) undercolor pencils or those that look like watercolors
(tHEY WORKED FINE. SOME OF THE KIDS REALLY LIKE THEM) high fire or
earthenware? (WE USE STONEWARE - FIRES AT @ 1900 DEGREES) color clay
body? (RED OR WHITE - PERSONAL CHOICE. TRY GROG CLAY) adhesive (MY KIDS
MOUNT ON BOARD AND FRAME THE WHOLE WORK. THEY MAKE THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL
TILE WORKS. CERAMIC GLUES)
