On style: I did a painting where I drew my feet in tennies, walking =
across the board. Then I divided the board into four parts and =
painted/drew four styles of handling the same subject. One was acrylic, =
pallet knife style, one pastel, one watercolor and one drawing. The =
style varied as did the medium. (sold it, so the idea worked for =
someone else!)
On using a skull for drawing: you are one step away from two dimensional =
facial reconstruction! Nose on a Caucasian is 5mm beyond the nasal =
opening, lips are gumline to gumline and cover the first six teeth. =
Eyebrows generally follow the eye orbit. Eyes are centered on an =
imaginary line that goes from top to bottom and widest point of the eye =
opening.
