Hi artsednetters from Sunny South Florida =20
Well, we had no electricity for 15 hours but all is well now. Many =
trees down in our area and much debris scattered but we did well. No =
lost life is amazing for the area in the keys it hit. Roads are still =
not passable to Key West as US 1 is missing at mile marker 72, but the =
National Guard is already there fixing things. Florida did a great job =
of getting ready this time. I thought it very smart to not have school =
on Thursday and Friday so people could deal properly with the storm =
ahead of time. Anyone need 28 gallons of water???? Laura loving the =
sunshine. After being off for this Thurday and Friday it dawned on me =
this CSF convention is next Thurday and Friday and then in two weeks =
I'll be off for the FAEA convention on Thursday and Friday...those kids =
are going to wonder if they even have art!!! Such is life.
