I just read your e-mail requesting some help in preparing your students
for a visit to the Nat. Gallery of Art.
There is a book called "The National Gallery of Art Activity Book. 25
Adventures With Art" that you might find very useful. It focuses on many
different images and describes different activities (wrting, talking,
thinking, looking, creating, analyzing) that focus on specific works in
their collection. It's adaptable yet concise and covers a variety of
styles and periods.
I highly recommend it. You could purchase it quickly from amazon.com.
Hope this helps.
