I just had to tell everyone! I showed a film that took two months to get a
hold of today and it went great!

"Meshes of the Afternoon" by Maya Deren.

The students flipped over it! They had never seen anything like it. I
wanted the grade 12 generals to get a handle on what surealism is for their
final drawing assignment which will be a surreal landscape that reflects
who they are.

I'm sure most of you could get a hold of her work a lot easier then I did
because you are in the U.S. and she was a New York Artist. (She was also
the only well known female to create surreal film)

Here is a great links about bio and her work.
