A teacher friend of mine and I came up with this one...
You tell the students:
Come up with a list of as many names of the colour "RED" as you can. You
have 1 week, the person with the longest list gets a bonus mark.
Each week you can give them another colour. This came out of a
conversation about how many names there can be for one colour. It is an
interesting exercize and could be quite humorous.
