Make it easier on your self and schedule time for weekly individual
meetings for the kids you don't get to meet and talk with you in class
If it is truely interdisciplinary you have to share more time.
An additional suggestion is to limit the media...
Focus on the craft of the media.... tricks to achieve special
effects... Kids really appreciate learning how to achieve those
dramatic qualities of the way technical masters achieved thier beautious
wonders. There is gloty in thier works... The class might even
appreciate a whole day focus / slide show.... Video is tough becaue it
so talky.... Maybe jujst video tape long sections of looking at several
major art works by one artist... create a video your self.... and put
the camera on a tripod... It is a marvelous teaching tool and I highly
siuggest getting one... All Schools should have one... if not borrow
or rent one! Kids love learning how to use it too...
After all that is the way artists do it...
they can be excercises and guided directon of using materials
