Hi...to Vicki and others who seem interested...If you are interested in
Betty Edwards' approach to teaching drawing, I might interest you in an
even better book(s) to read which, I think, has more to offer in the way of
teaching techniques/ideas than the Edwards' book. Mona Brookes has written
two books...one for teaching younger children drawing...DRAWING WITH
CHILDREN (she started her method in the pre-school arena)...and one other
called DRAWING FOR OLDER CHILDREN AND TEENS. The latter one is ISBN#
0-87477-660-0. Betty E. answers the question "why" and Mona B. answers the
question "how". Both are definitely "have-to-reads".
