To all: I am a new member to the list serve. I am the literary arts
specialist (aka librarian) at a K - 5 arts magnet school ( that is
located in an urban at risk neighborhood). We aggressively integrate and
infuse the arts into the all the curriculum. Literature is the thread
that binds all the strands of learning together. We strongly emphasize
process over product and focus on the arts as they relate to each other
as well as each art in its pure form. We are attempting to develop a
stronger drama component to add to our already strong music, visual
arts, dance and literature program. With this in mind, I have a very
creative 4th grade classroom teacher who is interested in dramatizing
tall tales. Is anyone aware of whre I could aquire a source of scripts
or any suggestions on how to accomplish this.
Thank you, G. Lynne Chapuis, Sadler Arts Academy Muskogee, OK
I sent my message to the wrong address. I have been monitoring for
