Sometimes I regret opening my mouth (or my fingers on the keyboard, in this
case). A guy (I don't remember his name) posted a message regarding slip
casting and said something about shaking the slip well before using. I
said, "Mix, don't shake." Maybe I should have said, "Stir." I then directed
him to an informative website about casting and moldmaking of all types.
I have been beset by e-mail explaining the difference between plaster and
slip. I know the difference. Thank you all for the well-intended advice,
but please read the original post to find to whom to send it.
