Fellow Art Educators All-
O.K. So I survived my first week, and laid down the rules of my room, made
them MEMORIZE the whole thing...it went pretty good, except for the one or two
jokers that are starved for attention. You know the type, they interrupt you
they ask to go to the bathroom (70 times a day), they ball up paper asking for
more , they talk constantly to peers, they stand instead of sit in seat, they
backtalk to teacher ("I wasn't talking-that was so and so..."), etc. I f only
I knew how to deal with this type of student--there is ONE in every class.
This kind of kid LOVES it when they get on your nerves! Send him to principal
or disciplinarian?? They throw him right back at me. Any suggestions? I
certainly can use some free advice tonite!! Thanks all!
