Fellow ArtsEdNetters:

I just received the "Disney" chain letter on the ArtsEdNet, and I noticed the message file was very large (12K). Being the curious person that I am, I wondered how large the file would be if there were close to 13,000 signatures?
A quick extrapolation indicated to me that the file would be enormous...approximately 13MB(or more). That size file could cause many problems for home and school users. Just to mention two: shut down your email, overpower your PC or Mac unless you can open a file that large. I know this email chain sounds cool, but my advice is that you should avoid opening it...much less answering it.
Plus, remember: anyone can take your name off before they reply, and you will not be noted on the chain letter.
I have seen this same letter before. A friend sent it to me...she likes sharing letters...she thought this was one...I'm not so sure!
Take this information for what you believe it is worth, and make your decisions accordingly. As for me, I will delete these chain letters before I open them.
