We had the opportunity to meet with a local architect today who is
interested in assisting schools and art teachers with an architecture
unit in conjunction with a Frank Lloyd Wright documentary which will be
aired in November. The program which he desires to support is alike a
competition with a variety of a la F. L. Wright architecture lessons.
This program I believe is sponsored by th GM Company and is targeted to
the middle school population. I had not received a prospectus... is
there anyone else out there that did, and are you participating? It
sounds like a worthwhile program but the deadline is Sept. 23rd, I
think, and the mailings supposedly just recently went out. Though the
deadline seems a bit tight, I am really pleased to have met an architect
who desires to be a resource within the schools.
