When I was in college I had to make a "chair"...Didn't we all? I =
decided to make one of the women in Seurat's Sunday Afternoon with a =
bustle. The part you sit on is the bustle and the normal back of the =
chair is her front down to the floor. She is dressed in a formal =
Victorian gown. I made cloth arms, neck and head and then painted on =
the face. She also wears a hat of the time period. I now use her as =
my assistant in the art room. I call her Miss Polly Politeness and she =
is my time out chair. There is not a child in the elementary school who =
wants to sit on the bustle of Miss Polly Politeness. They cry at her =
name. (especially boys) She is the best discipline plan I ever =
invented!!! Hey, it works for me! =20
