Handcoloring photographs.

I have found that the Dr. Martins Ph water colors work very well on either
fiberbased or resin coated papers. Dilute with water and be subtle in
coloring. Practice on workprints or other scraps to get the feel for the
mixing and dilution proceedures. They are dyes and once on cannot be removed.
You can always make darker or more intense, but not lighter.
