Regarding mylar. You can make monoprints from frosted mylar. I'm
really fuzzy on the details but I made some once. Also at the TAEA
conference in Dallas in '94 some folks made monoprints with glue.
Does anyone remember more about this?

You ink or paint the surface and wipe away an image before placing a
sheet of absorbent paper over the surface. It requires a viscous
paint that has either linseed oil added to it or sometimes extender
will work. As far as the glue goes, you "draw" with the glue, let it
dry, ink it up and pull a print from the surface.
