Thanks for all the replies for information on tolerence. I enjoyed
Teresa's letter. Thanks for sharing. A local spinning mill donated
bags of cotton fibers that are coiled and ready for spinning. We can
use it for stuffing, but feel it would be a waste of really good stuff.
Someone once showed me how to use an apple and a knitting needle to spin
fibers into a thread, but I can't get it together to drop and spin. She
called it a drop spindle. I would like to have the students spin, dye
and weave the material. Any ideas? Thanks Bea
