Some of our favorites in the middle school art room are:
anything by Enya, particularly "Watermark" and "Memory of Trees"--top choice
anything by Jim Brickman (piano)
"Cristofori's Dream" (more piano)
Ottmar Liebert (flamenco guitar)--not the newest one--all my cd's are in the
art room and I'm at home on a Saturday, so I don't have the actual names of
the particular cd's but I can be more specific later if you would like.
It seems to me that these and other "new age" artists provide wonderful
meditational sounds that help to "sooth the savage beast"--even while 7th
graders were working with clay this week. We're all happier.
Good luck and please share any other suggestions with the list....
