THERE IS A PRODUCT CALLED MARBLE THIX THAT ENABLES YOU TO SUCCESSFULLY DO
PAPER MARBLING WITH THINNED ACRYLIC PAINT. YOU PUT WATER INTO A LARGE, LOW
CONTAINER AND ADD THE MARBLE THIX (MAKING A VISCOUS, CLEAR LIQUID) SO THAT
YOU CAN "FLOAT" THINNED ACRYLIC PAINT ON THE SURFACE. BY CAREFULLY "DRAWING
INTO" THE SURFACE OF THE PAINT YOU CAN MAKE MARBLED SURFACES ONTO WHICH YOU
CAN LAY ANY KIND OF PAPER (COLORED CONSTRUCTION PAPER OR WHITE DRAWING
PAPER). THE RESULTS ARE QUITE LOVELY--SPECTACULAR EVEN. I'VE USED IT WITH
ELEMENTARY VERY SUCCESSFULLY AND THE END RESULT MADE BOOK COVERS FOR 5TH
GRADERS. IF YOU NEED MORE INFO JUST LET ME KNOW!
