I teach art K-8, and we have music on in the room all the time. If I
forget, the kids ask for it. For middle school kids - instrumental only
- lots of Windham Hill etc... whatever the Nature Company sells usually
works too - music from different cultures. Some Classical...
I'm torn between talking and not - they(any age) can't really do their
best if they are talking - but there is a lot of discussion that takes
place about their projects. I usually tell them "I don't mind if you
talk while you are working, but you are not here to work while you're
talking." I always ask them if they understand the difference. They
do.
The PTA bought the CD palyer, tapes and CDs.
