How sad what we do to one another. In our discussions on studio critiques I
have read about "artists who cannot teach," and then, I read about the
demeaning manner that art ed students are treated by "real" or "serious"
artists. I don't get it. How does that happen? In institutes of learning,
shouldn't the ability to teach be the top priority? In art classes, what
difference does it make which student is in which major? Aren't they all
there for the same purpose?
