I am on the technology focus group in my junior high school. We are
in charge of planning and providing staff development on site. In
the 50 staff members, there is a wide diversity of computer skills
and competence. I need to find a 'test' that people can take to
pin-point their level of skill. I am looking for a computer skills survey that
lists a series of skills, starting with the real basics and building sequentially to
the most advanced skills in the areas of word processing, spread sheets,
e-mail and internet uses. In my mind's eye I see something like:
* can open and create a document.
* can close and save a document.
* can cut and paste text in one document.
and so on...
I would guess that someone, somewhere has either written one of these
surveys or may know of a site that lists such a survey. I would
rather not re-invent the wheel! If you know of any surveys, either
