Dear Ellen:

I can see the confusion - but I don't think the definition of geometric
shapes is enough. I always taught that geometric shapes could be
made/recreated with math formulae. Will this work? Or is it too limiting?
Even though bees don't know geometry, their work can be recreated with a
math formula.

Interesting problem.
