theatre warm-up games?

Hi all,

As I start this year of 7th grade social studies, I want to introduce
my students to 'theatre.' In past years, we've written and performed
medieval dramas and kabuki theatre with varying results. It occurred
to me that starting them out with simple, non-threatening, fun, quick
theatre games might help get them over the shyness and provide good team
building skills.

I have tried the few warm-ups I know and the kids loved them.
SO...can anyone help me out with some more ideas of things to do?
Also, do you have any good books to suggest on the subject? (Please
remember I am a novice at this!) If you have lots of ideas on disk, you might
want to e-mail me privately and include them as attachments. Many, many
thanks in advance, guys!!
