Thanks to Judy for forwarding my message and instructing me how to write in
"plain text."
 
I am writing to ask those of you who have worked with really young kids for
some suggestions for great projects. I will be teaching four after-school
PTA-sponsored classes starting next week. Each class is an hour and 15 minutes
and the kids are grouped by age. I taught art fort 30 years in middle school,
but have never worked with such little ones before--not even during my student
teaching.
 
I have the basic supplies to get started. The classes are small--maybe 7
kids per group.
 
I would like to start off with some projects to really grab their interest so
hopefully by the second session, the classes will be larger.
