I like to use these books:
Lives of the Artists: Masterpieces, Messes (and What the Neighbors Thought)
Masterpieces Coloring Book
Discovering Great Artists
Scholastic Art
I have one more, but can't find it online and the book is at school. All of
these have 1-2 page biographys that add abit more to a lesson. I also like
the "Meet the Artist" series, even though they are written for younger
students my older, lower level students enjoy them as well.
