I live in Denton Tx not far from Frisco where the art teacher taught who has
been suspended...I am not quite sure from the various media reports if she has
actually been fired. I think she continues to be paid until the end of the
year. From the local blogs, there appears to be more to the story than has
been reported in the press. Apparently, there have been some personnel
problems. It depends on whose side you are on. In any case, the
dismissal/suspension of this art teacher for those grounds is quite surprising.
However, I don't know if the blogs are reporting accurate information or not.
People are still talking about the situation here and I suspect for quite
awhile. We probably haven't heard the rest of the story yet.
