NAEA MEDIA RELEASE
NATIONAL ART EDUCATION ASSOCIATION

ATTENTION RESEARCHERS AND READERS OF RESEARCH
Translations is seeking manuscripts that bridge the gap between
research and practice in art education. The mission of the semi-annual
publication is to publish reviews of research (such as case studies,
historical studies, experiments, theoretical analyses, etc.) on art
education issues and translate that research for practicing K-12 art
If you have completed a research study perhaps your report includes a
survey of research and other scholarly literature that could be
translated for practicing K-12 art teachers. If you are in the process
of proposing and planning a research study, perhaps your proposal or
plan requires or draws upon a survey of related research literature.
If you do not conduct research yourself but are interested in becoming
more deeply informed about an issue of concern to practicing K-12 art
teachers, perhaps you would like to entertain the possibility of
ultimately reviewing the available research about that issue for others.
NOTE: Translations does not publish research reports per se, but rather
reviews of research.
