I want to share some information I received in an e-mail from the folks at
FMF. I'm
sure I won't be the only one but I do feel obligated because this group is
where I
learned about the program, applied and found myself in Japan with a
wonderful group
of educators. It was truly an amazing experience for an educator to
have-and all
free! Go to the site , read the information and if you have questions,
there are
several people on this group who have participated and could give a
testimony! I
went with the same group as Susan from Long Island -we finally go to meet
in person
after reading each others posts on the artsednet for years!
Here is the info-check it out! The application is nothing compared to
doing the
NBPTS writing!
"The 2005 FMF competition is underway and we are excited to offer
educators
another opportunity to participate in the FMF program.

We appreciate your assistance in making the program known to fellow
educators in
your school and throughout your state. One of the best ways in which to
give back to
the FMF program is to encourage your colleagues and administrators to
submit an
application for this year's competition.

The FMF application will only be offered online for the 2005 competition
via our
website at www.iie.org/fmf. ""
