The shrinky sarcophagi are no longer on the site. I had a template
of the head shape and a line for the bottom of the mummy. Kids were to
fill in the body and create a pedestal base. I think the whole thing
was about 8 inches tall. Kids designed on paper and placed shrink
sheets on top to trace them off of the finished design. We used sharpie
and colored pencils to color. We added embellishment with fine gold or
silver paint pens. Bake at 325, I think. Might be 350. Let them curl
up and they will flatten back out when it is time to take them out.
Hope that helps. Oh...we put heiroglyphics down the front and added
symbols to the designs. We also added some contemporary flair with
dotting backgrounds, checkerboards here and there, etc.
