Many of my projects are suited for illustrations such as Watercolor and ink,
pastels, pastel and pencil, scratchboard, pencil, etc. I have done a word
illustration in my graphic arts classes years ago that I am starting Monday in
art 4. Many of my students have become illustrators. Try having your students
use drawing and mixed media techniques to solve illustrations for books, ads,
events, and things like that.
