Found Object Sculpture

Yesterday Diane Jaquith and I visited the Berenberg Gallery in Boston's South
End. We saw some amazing found object sculptures and spoke with their
creator, artist Nancy Sutherland. There are many connections between her
processes and what we see our students doing with their collections and
transformations of everyday discards into the extraordinary. If you would like to see her
