Sky, the cleanup counting thing just came to me in desperation one day
as I felt like I was trying to lasso jello during cleanup. NOTHING was
happening. I just said, "ok...everybody pick up 20 things!" Instantly
chaos turned into order, lol. It IS a magic trick! They never get
tired of it, but I always reserve it for those times when I am tired and
beat, and they are wild little party animals who don't want to listen to
me or clean up. Works like a charm every time, haha. That's funny that
you do it too.
