Another tip about tempera batik...
Make sure that the paint is applied thickly!
If you can see paper texture through the paint, it's too thin. Also, if
they accidentally paint over the chalk lines, you can use a paint
scraper to scrape the line back into place. I did these for so many
years! They are gorgeous. Makes me want to do them again. Great still
life idea as long as they draw LARGE.
