This process of editing and revising is part of those activities which teach
higher order thinking strategies. They are required to do it in their writing
assignments, and all their work. It always amazes me when students tell me
that they are done, this is their artwork and how can I say if they are done or
not! My response to them is that they are here to learn different ways to
create. One aspect of creating is to look at your work, think about how you can
learn more, be more successful, have you done everything that was asked of
you, did you do more that I asked you to, what did you think of on your
own...etc.
