oil pastel and tempera

I remember the original thread about black tempera and oil pastel, but I
don't remember if this was shared -
I use oil pastel over tempera paintings that are lacking some punch, usually
still life paintings that are still unfinished... really adds some great
depth to the color -

I usually have the kids use the side of the oil pastel drawn lightly over
the painted surface... the tooth of the paper and paint picks up just enough
oil pastel -
