Make a rubric with the grades given start out with "F" = 5 to 10 minutes of
work .
Add the other criteria you wish to see in "D" through "A". Adding 10 minutes
to each elevated grade.
You should also be ready to demo the following steps:
Highlights , shading on a sphere ( rounded surfaces) and shadow.
Then introduce the tortillion or rubbing with a finger or kleenex for
blending.
Talk about reflected surfaces , especially with color.
Then add a background and table surface to the completed sketch.
Thats a two day project -at least.
