hi Maggie,
i've used Mylar for jewelry bases, drawn on it with markers, and run it
thru the printing press as a plate. We used everything from permanent
and watercolor markers to printing ink and acrilic with great success.
Be sure to add an under layer of matt board or cardboard scrap under the
mylar plate. I've also done silkscreen prints by using a different color
on every layer. When they're all stacked up they look really cool. Now
you're got my brain going. I'll have to think of some more uses for the
stuff.
