NAEA ADDS 28 ADVOCACY ADVISORYS TO WEB SITE

(September, 27)-NAEA announces the installation of 28 NAEA Advisorys to the
Association's web site at www.naea-reston.org during the first week of October
2003. The Advisorys were selected from the collection over the last 15 years,
chosen by a committee and focused on advocacy and policy development. They
are placed it the recent news section with the myriad of other advocacy
materials and can be downloaded by anyone in pdf format.

"During our strategic planning discussions, members emphasized their desire
to see NAEA take a more active role in advocacy for learning in the visual
arts," said NAEA President Mary Ann Stankiewicz. "They also said that they want
to see more content on the web site. Posting on the NAEA web site selected
issues of the NAEA Advisory that address advocacy addresses both of these member
concerns."
