This sounds really cool! What age students are you doing this with? And what is "clear tar gel"? Do you think this would work with another clear medium? Thanks for sharing!

Subject: what we're doing

I'm having a pretty good project experience the last couple of days. We've
been working on things like dominance and texture and scale and variety, etc.

I bought a box of slide mounts. We cut laminating film (my supplies are still
not here for the most part, so I'm scrambling) into rectangles slide size.

On this small rectangles we made collages with tissue, colored acetate, and
even bits of "ancient map" giftwrap tissue from Barnes& Noble. For adhesive we
used Golden gel medium "clear tar gel" because I had it and knew it dried
        clear.

We then cut a second piece of laminating film the same size and I slid the
        sandwich into the slide mounts.

They look awesome projected, usually totally different than they expect. I'm
hoping I can project them in the cafeteria.
