Read about Tibetan Sand Mandelas...fascinating. THere is a site (sorry,
not bookmarked on this computer) that is fromthe Philadelphia Museum, I
believe, where a Monk came into the museum to create a sand mandela with
schoolkids. In the end, they take the sand to the river and said
prayers as they released it into the water. Beautiful images. I'll
look for the site next week if nobody beats me to it. Enter Mandelas,
or sand mandelas and see if you see something with Philadelphia museum
attached to it. Slides in this site show the whole process, as well as
describe what is being illustrated in each triangular section of the
wheel of life that they created together.
