I have them do a drawing first, showing where the textures, details, and
values are going to be. I believe it is Bunki who has the students do a
white on black drawing first, which would introduce the students to the
process.

I would like to use pre-inked scratch board in one of my 8th grade classes
and have never used the stuff before. Does anyone have any suggestions on
how to introduce it so the kids don't just jump-in and start scratching away
making a mess.
