FYI You can find some terrific transparent wrap paper in great colors on page 154 in the Sax catalog. there is even Iridescent! Hope this helps.

  I had students do a faux stained glass one year by cutting mat board - they cut out the areas they wanted colored and the black mat board was the leading. We used transparent plastic (kind of like Saran Wrap but thicker - I bought it from an art supply catalog). They were able to layer the colors to achieve new colors. I'll snap a picture of one my seniors gave me as a parting gift - we did it 10 years ago, but it still looks wonderful. :-)
