Your tins are little treasures. Are the pictures you posted on your site
the outsides of the box? Do you have special things related to the outside
on the inside? I'm thinking how neat it would be to save very special
keepsakes inside and have the outside related to what is being
saved/preserved. I'm thinking: baby teeth, baby's first haircut, dried
flowers from wedding bouquet. It would be an intimate way to remember things
since the box is so small and beautiful. Perhaps even stranger things could
be saved, like I had a professer who made quilts of sealed clear vinyl
packets with things inside. One quilt was about an ex-boyfriend and she had
saved very personal "garbage" of his like hair clippings, fingernail
clippings, cigarette butts, coffee grounds, you get the idea. It was almost
like she was a stalker, it made one uncomfortable to look at it. It was
intense. Anyway, this idea very much interests me. Thank you!
