I have a student who's interested in pursuing AP Studio Art Drawing this year. (I have another student who's already working on AP Studio Art 3-D.)
The student who wants to pursue the Drawing course will have to produce all of the work this year (long story); not sure if he's going to be able to, but he's very motivated so we'll see what he's able to get done by the end of October.
Question though--in looking through the portfolio examples at AP Central, I see that a lot of the works are in paint. I was under the impression that the drawing course would just include works in pencil, pastels, ink, charcoal, etc.
Can they use any 2-D materials for this, including the media listed above as well as acrylic, watercolor or oil?? (I see that 2-D design features a lot of photography....)
This is (obviously) my first year doing this; on the positive side, I'll have a better idea of what I'm doing NEXT year!!! ;-)
