I had the students do that last year and I told the custodian. He said
wonderful, it will save him the trouble of having my room painted. I
made him sware that I better not come back from summer break and find
them painted over. He promised they wouldn't be. They weren't and it
still looks good. I have turned it into a senior privilege.
I can only imagine your heartbreak when they had painted over yours.
