I had had my students paint murals on my walls - my room was bright with color. The custodians decided to paint over them one summer, which I ranted and raved about all year. My new administrator walks into my room one day and casually mentioned how cool the artroom was at his old school because the students had painted the walls.

  Does hanging art on the windows count as hanging art on a wall?
  I have new windows in one of my schools so I am not allowed to touch them. I asked if I could paint them (at my old school I painted Starry Night on them and it looked great) and the brand new principal is "not sure about that". He is going to find out for me.
